Filipe Pais has been writing about Whispering Glaciers – a digital media project focused on the Arctic, the global climate crisis and its effects on the landscape.
On June 2025 I accompanied Filipe on his journey to Svalbard, Norway to capture images and sounds which will be integrated into the ongoing final project being developed by CNAP (Centre for Non-Anthropocentric Play), a Noroff University research group led by Filipe and Erik Geslin.
Whispering Glaciers aims to become an interactive portrait and archive of a landscape that is being changed by the ravages of the climatic crisis affecting the planet. A project log is now available, an evolving document of the whole process since its inception, and including our adventures in the North.
