CIAV – Almada Velha (2013)

In this collaboration with Artica, an interactive technology and robotics company, I created a quadraphonic soundscape for CIAV, a new museum project in Almada, Portugal, dedicated to the cities’ historic legacy.

Artica developed a series of interactive installations, while my job was to create a quadraphonic sonic environment that evoked the ambience and sounds of the city’s historical center. This involved a lot of walking and recording sounds particular to that area, and assembling them into a discreet sonic experience that provides an ambience for the visit.

A technical description of the project can be found here.
