Third and final EP in a collaboration with British / American saxophonist and composer Kevin Flanagan.
This “chapter” expands on the “Caminho de Santiago / Peddars Way” starting point and concept. It contains electronic and experimental music based on instrumental and field recordings that took place in Valença (Portugal), as well as several areas in the United Kingdom, including the Stapleford meadow area and the nearby Gog Magog structures. It also includes Mediterranean sounds through the use of a Tunisian flute as the basis for the closing track. The track “Magog Skylark” is based on a previous orchestral composition by Flanagan commissioned by choreographer Jane Turner.
